Cody Johnson recently delivered a chilling performance of his inspiring hit, “‘Til You Can’t” at The Ryman Auditorium.

The acoustic rendition of the chart-topping hit features the Texas native alongside his band. While it’s a stripped-down performance, it still remains powerful as Johnson’s commanding voice captivates viewers throughout the video.

“If you listen closely, you might hear the Ghost of the Ryman,” Johnson captioned the clip.

Fans gushed over the performance in the comments section. “This man is the best thing to happen to country music, it stays alive through him,” one declared, while another said, “I literally get chills every time I hear his acoustic sessions. His voice is so crisp and real.”

In March, Johnson celebrated his first No.1 and multi-week No.1 single at mainstream country radio when “‘Til You Can’t” topped both the Mediabase Country Airplay Chart and the Billboard Country Airplay chart.

Produced by Trent Willmon and co-written by Ben Stennis and Matthew J. Rogers, “‘Til You Can’t” is the lead single on Johnson’s latest project, Human: The Double Album.

“I chose to record ‘Til You Can’t’ first because of the positivity in the message of the song. In our world today, we could use more positivity,” Cody Johnson previously shared. “Secondly, because of how dynamic the melody was; I took it and ran with it.”

The song is a giant hit and recently reached the No.1 position on Billboard’s airplay, streaming and sales-based Hot Country Songs Chart. Additionally, the RIAA Gold-Certified track has also reached No.1 spot on SiriusXM’s HOT 30 Weekend, the MusicRow Country Breakout chart and Shazam’s Country Chart.

In early April, Cody Johnson made his Tonight Show debut with a performance of “‘Til You Can’t.” Fans flocked to the comments section and deemed the superstar “the next King of Country Music” following his performance.

At the 2022 CMT Music Awards, Johnson was crowned the winner of the coveted Male Video of the Year category for “‘Til You Can’t.”
