Jon Pardi made an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday evening to perform his latest chart-climbing single, “Last Night Lonely.”
The California native and his band showed the world what country music is all about with a performance that included a fiddle and pedal steel.
Bringing the lead Top 5 and climbing single to life, Pardi gave viewers a taste of what’s to come on his highly-anticipated new album, Mr. Saturday Night.
Releasing on September 2, the new album serves as Pardi’s fourth studio project and the follow-up to his ACM and CMA Album of The Year-nominated Heartache Medication.
Mr. Saturday Night features 14 tracks and was co-produced by Pardi alongside Bart Butler and Ryan Gore.
Pardi recently released the title track, penned by Benjy Davis, Reid Isbell and Joe Ragosta.
“I feel like everybody wants to be Mr. Saturday Night at one point on the weekend and have a good time,” Pardi recently shared. “But then you hear the song and – the way it’s so well written – it’s a sad song, but you don’t go there right away, because it’s also a fun song. That’s the thing about ‘Mr. Saturday Night,’ it’s more than meets the eye. It’s all fun until you get to the chorus.”
The country hitmaker is in the midst of his Ain’t Always The Cowboy Tour, which picks back up on August 19 in Lampe, MO. He will soon make his way back to Music City for his headlining show at Ascend Amphitheater on October 1.
