Kane Brown kicked off the second leg of the Blessed & Free Tour with a hometown concert in Chattanooga, Tennessee, which also marked the country superstar’s first-ever stadium concert.
On Saturday, May 7, the “Like I Love Country Music” singer surprised the crowd with a special guest, Lauren Alaina, for a performance of their chart-topping duet, “What Ifs.”
Brown launched into the electrifying performance of “What Ifs” singing the opening verse before Alaina entered the stage to a roaring applause. Alaina, donning a sparkly black dress and thigh-high boots, effortlessly belted out lyrics to the 7x Platinum hit.
Surrounded by an impressive production, the superstars strutted down the catwalk to finish out the song while singing in perfect harmony.

The longtime friends met in choir class in the seventh grade at the ages of 13 and 12, respectively, at Lakeview Middle School in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia.
“We genuinely want each other to do well,” Alaina previously explained in a press conference. “The song was the perfect way for us to showcase what we can do. I love Kane, and it was a natural fit.”
Co-written by Kane Brown alongside Matt McGinn and Jordan Schmidt, “What Ifs” is a duet with Alaina and the second single from Brown’s Self-Titled debut album, which was released via RCA Nashville in 2017.
