Even from across the world, Kane Brown still managed to find ways to make his wife, Katelyn, feel loved. On Tuesday, Sept. 30, as he kicked off his run of shows across Europe and the U.K., Brown gave fans a heartfelt moment in Cologne, Germany, when he FaceTimed his other half to join him in performing their hit duet, “Thank God.”

The fan-captured video finds him gently letting Katelyn know he was about to put her “on the spot” and then asked her, “you ready?” The crowd fell silent during the call, allowing them to hear the full conversation.

Brown proceeded to ask that she help him get their song started. Katelyn can be heard laughing and showing some hesitation towards her request.

She claimed to not realize he was on stage when he called her and earned a round of laugher after adding, “I thought you were at like the chocolate factory or something.”

Brown once again prompts her saying, “are you ready?”

Katelyn gives a more enthusiastic “okay” before moving closer to the speaker of her phone and delivering the first lines to their love-filled tune.

She sings the lyrics “So thank God…” and proceeds to let the audience take it from there. Brown proudly holds up the phone to the loud room of fans, as they both dance along with them.

“Good job, babe,” the Chattanooga, TN native told Katelyn before hanging up the phone and continuing the performance solo.

Fans have flooded the comment section, sharing their admiration of the strong bond between the lovebirds.

“If my man don’t love me like this, I DONT WANT IT!”

“The love this man has for his wife is such a beautiful thing to see.”

“I would love to be loved like this man loves his wife!”

“He set the standard soo high.”

The tender tune that finds the couple professing their love for one another has become a staple in Kane Brown’s live shows. Since Katelyn can’t be at every show, Brown has found several different ways to still deliver the tune to fans. Aside from Facetiming his wife in, he has also tapped other female singer/songwriters like Carly Pearce and Relynn to help him out in the past.

Penned by Josh Hoge, Jaxson Free, Kyle Fishman, Christian Davis, and Jared Mullins, “Thank God” was released in 2022 as part of Brown’s Different Man album. It was later brought to life in a picturesque music video shot in Hawaii. The romantic duet struck a chord with fans right away and quickly made its mark on country radio.

It rose to the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Country Airplay chart in February 2023, marking the country star’s 9th career chart-topper and Katelyn’s first.
