Luke Combs is the face of Bass Amateur Shop in a hilarious new skit for ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live!

The North Carolina native shows off his comedic chops in a clip that spoofs Bass Pro Shops.

Playing the role of a salesman at the make-believe store, Combs attempts to help ignorant customers as they try to purchase fishing gear.

“Hey y’all, I’m Luke Combs, and I love to fish, but I’m no pro. That’s why I start every adventure with a trip to Bass Amateur Shop, the place for people who love to fish, but don’t have the faintest idea how to do it,” he says. “Our friendly employees are ready to help find the gear that’s right for you, and answer all of your stupidest questions.”

Those questions include: “How wet is the fish going to be?,” “How do they get all that salt in the water?” and “Why is one fish fish and two fish is also fish?”

Sporting a bucket hat and a fishing vest, Combs goes on to showcase the various items available at the fictional store.

“We’ve got everything you need, from the little cranky turny guys, the big tall shoes, dental floss, the scoopty-doop, and a big-ass selection of Christmas ornaments. So come on down to Bass Amateur Shop, ‘cuz you don’t have to be a professional to get drunk on a lake.”

Luke Combs’ appearance in the Bass Amateur Shop clip comes on the heels of the release of his brand new album, Growin’ Up.

The 12-track project features the chart-topping hit, “Doin’ This,” Combs’ current single, “The Kind Of Love We Make,” and “Outrunnin’ Your Memory,” a duet with Miranda Lambert.
