One of the most exciting aspects of CMA Fest is the fact that you never know who is going to show up, and this year, country music fans were in for a treat when Post Malone made an unannounced appearance at Nissan Stadium. The excitement doubled as he brought along his friend Blake Shelton, and together, they delivered the live debut of their brand-new collaboration, “Pour Me A Drink.”

In the midst of the non-stop CMA Fest fun, Post Malone popped up in the center of the field and was later joined by Shelton. They brought feel-good vibes to the show as they teamed up to perform “Pour Me A Drink” from Posty’s highly anticipated debut country project.

This song is all about having a good time and forgetting your worries, and there’s no doubt that the CMA Fest crowd took the lyrics to heart.

“Somebody pour me a drink, somebody bum me a smoke/ I’m ’bout to get on a buzz, I’m ’bout to get on a roll/ Yeah, I been breakin’ my back just keepin’ up with the Joneses/ Y’all know what I mean, and y’all know how it goes/ When it’s up on a Friday and I’m paid, slide one over my way/ I can’t even think when I can hear one callin’ my name,” they sing on the chorus.

The song’s official release came just days after CMA Fest and the artists paired the track with a fun-filled music video, taking fans inside a backyard party in the country. Watch the clip here

Post Malone and Shelton’s performance was certainly a highlight of CMA Fest, and elevated the excitement surrounding the genre-bending star’s F-1 Trillion album. Slated to release on August 16, this project also features the chart-topping “I Had Some Help,” which features Morgan Wallen.

Post Malone will return to Nashville’s Nissan Stadium this fall when he wraps up his just-announced  F-1 Trillion Tour at the home of the Tennessee Titans on Saturday, October 19. The 21-show run officially kicks off on September 8 and will make stops at stadiums, festivals, amphitheaters around the U.S. More info can be found here.
