Did Riley Green just pull off the best tour announcement of all time?

The Alabama native surprised fans early Wednesday morning with a cinematic tour promo for his Damn Country Music Tour, which finds him and his tour mates recreating iconic scenes from Smokey and the Bandit

For his part, Green steps into Burt Reynolds’ shoes as the Bandit himself, and Ella Langley, who will join him as direct support on the entire tour, channels Sally Field in the passenger seat of the Pontiac Firebird Trans Am.

The action-filled clip includes a high-speed police chase with Green behind the wheel trying to outrun the cops while calling upon his tour mates over the CB radio, each with their own handle.

As “Duckman,” he rallies “Smoke Show” (Ella Langley), “Flatland Boy” (Erik Dylan), “Cubby” (Wyatt McCubbin), “Young Gun” (Vincent Mason), “Stuck-A-Lot” (Jake Worthington), “Soul Eagle” (Drake White), “Georgia Son” (Channing Wilson), “Crisco” (Preston Cooper), “Shirley Temple” (Lauren Watkins), and “Night Wailer” (Mike Ryan).

Green’s famous dog, Carl, also makes an appearance in the clip, lounging in the backseat of the Trans Am. At one point, he even sticks his head out the window, unfazed by the high-speed pursuit.

The clip is set to the iconic tune of Jerry Reed’s “East Bound and Down,” famously featured on the Smokey and the Bandit soundtrack.

Green’s Damn Country Music Tour will kick off on March 27 in Abbotsford, BC, Canada, and make several stops throughout the Great White North before returning to the States on May 1 for a stop in Athens, Georgia. The tour will continue through August 23, when it’s set to wrap up in Nampa, Idaho.

“I learned to play guitar to my granddaddy’s favorite country songs from back in the day and the new album is a throwback to the era when I first became a fan.  For this tour, I was able to find some of my favorite artists and songwriters to join us, and singing with Ella every night will be a lot of fun,” Green, 35, shared.

Tickets and VIP info can be found on Riley Green’s official website.
