Fans attending the Boots in the Park Festival in Norco, California on Saturday, March 12 were in for quite the surprise when headliner Tim McGraw was joined on-stage by several of his 1883 castmates during his performance of “I Like It, I Love It.” 

1883’s LaMonica Garrett, James Landry Hébert, Alex Fine, Amanda Jaros, Emerson Miller were among the cast and crew who joined the country hitmaker on stage, in addition to his castmate, fellow country superstar and wife, Faith Hill, and their youngest daughter, Audrey.

Several members of the cast documented the exciting moment on social media. 

“And it was in this moment, that me and my #1883TV castmates felt like rock stars backstage… Got chills watching that @1883official footage on all those screens in front of thousands of screaming fans,” Garrett, the 1883 star who plays the role of Thomas, a Pinkerton Agent, said. ”Just another Saturday for @thetimmcgraw haha 🙌🏾 Thanks for sharing the experience brother… 💪🏾💪🏾”

You guys have a really cool side hustle. @1883official is an awesome family to be apart of…” Fine, the actor who plays Grady in the record-breaking show, shared. “This is 29. 1883 is a 10-episode series that streamed on Paramount+. It’s the prequel to Yellowstone and broke records upon its debut. 

Additionally, McGraw will soon embark on his headlining McGraw Tour 2022 with special guests Russell Dickerson, Brandon Davis and Alexandra Kay. The trek kicks off on April 29 at Walmart AMP in Rogers, AR and will make stops in Florida, North Carolina, Georgia, Pennsylvania, New York and more before wrapping up in Mansfield, MA at Xfinity Center on June 4.
