Zach Top had a full-circle moment in his home state of Washington on Sunday (Jan. 5) when he took the field at Lumen Field to perform the national anthem ahead of the Seattle Seahawks’ NFC Championship game.

“Honored to have Zach Top perform the national anthem at Lumen Field today,” the Seattle Seahawks’ official social media accounts shared, alongside a video highlighting the rising country star’s unforgettable delivery.

The Seahawks hosted the NFC Championship game, which found them facing off against the Los Angeles Rams after advancing past the San Francisco 49ers in the divisional round. Prior to kickoff, Top stood on the podium wearing a Seahawks jersey and proudly represented his home state. His national anthem performance was heartfelt and powerful as he took the simple acoustic approach that allowed his vocals to fill the entire stadium.

Midway through the performance, Top received an eruption of applause from fans and football supporters alike inside Lumen Field, signaling just how strongly his rendition was resonating. While it may not have been his typical kind of stage, the “Use Me” singer proved he could rise to the moment.

Top wasn’t the only Washington-born country act to make an appearance during the big game. Rising star Tucker Wetmore also returned as a featured performer during the Halftime Show presented by Columbia Bank.

Prior to his appearance, Wetmore took to social media to document some behind-the-scenes moments. He noted that this performance was a “bucket list item” and a “dream come true” for him.

The Seattle Seahawks kicked off at 3:30 p.m. PT and ultimately defeated the Los Angeles Rams 31–27 at Lumen Field, earning a trip to Super Bowl XLIX.  In just a few weeks, they’ll face the New England Patriots once again.

Zach Top’s National Anthem performance kicks off a busy year of touring. He is gearing up to return to the road for the European leg of his Cold Beer & Country Music Tour. The trek will launch on February 21 in Zurich, CH and continue through March 15 with stops across Sweden, Denmark, the UK and more.

Additionally, he has been tapped to join Chris Stapleton as a special guest on the All-American Road show. These shows will take place across August and September.

Between the powerful display at Lumen Field and international performances up ahead, Zach Top is proving 2026 is already set to be a milestone year.
