Mitch Rossell delivered the “biggest announcement” of his career following a string of appearances on NBC’s America’s Got Talent. Over the weekend, the rising country star took to social media to share the very exciting news that he has officially inked a deal with Dreamcatcher Artists.
In celebration, Rossell posted a heartfelt note alongside a couple of images of him signing the paperwork and solidifying his new partnership. In the note, he illustrated his rollercoaster of a journey thus far and also shared a heavy dose of gratitude towards all those who have supported him along the way.
“I moved to Nashville almost 14 years ago, and man it has been quite the ride,” Rossell began in the caption. “I’ve had a lot of ups, and a LOT of downs. I’ve felt like it was all coming together a few times, and I’ve felt like quitting a bunch of times. I’ve always just taken a lunch pale, blue collar approach to this thing, knowing that God was in ultimate control of where it would go. ‘Keep showing up, Mitch. That’s all you can do is just keep showing up.’…man, I’ve told myself that at least a million times.”
Finally, after years of putting his faith and trust in God, Rossell is starting to see his dreams come to fruition. He went on to express his hesitancy towards signing a record deal in the past in fear of losing creative control over his sound. However, with Dreamcatcher Artists, Rossell admits he feels that his vision and goals are going to be respected as they begin this new venture together.
“Out on the road, and here on social media, the most common question/comment I get is ‘How do you not have a record deal?’ My answer to that has been ‘I honestly don’t know, but I also don’t know that I really want one.’ I’ve seen so many bad situations where artists get treated really poorly and I never wanted to be in that position. Then, about 6 months ago, I got introduced to a group of people that really blew me away. Their passion and belief in what I’m doing was really evident. They respect me as a partner and a visionary for my goals and dreams and they want to walk alongside me and make those same dreams and goals a part of their mission. I don’t know that there is a bigger compliment than that.”
He continued, “So today, I am so incredibly proud to announce, that I have signed a record deal with Dreamcatcher Artists. I am so pumped to have a team of people who truly want the world to know me and my music and they’re excited at what we can accomplish. And let me just tell y’all, I’m excited too.”
In a few final words, the singer/songwriter thanked his followers for their continued support as he embarks on this next chapter.
“I’m sharing this with y’all because I want to say thank you. I would not be here without y’all. You have walked alongside me and helped me create a meaningful career where I can support my family and chase my dreams. That is not lost on me, and it will never be lost on me. I hope you’ll continue to walk alongside me, and now more than ever, you’ll help my new team and I push this train. Together, I truly believe we can change the world,” Rossell said in conclusion.
Powell Hedley, CEO of Dreamcatcher Artists, also chimed in via press release to praise the budding artist and explain that the company is welcoming him with open arms.
“We are thrilled to welcome Mitch Rossell to the Dreamcatcher Artists family. His talent and dedication are truly exceptional, and we are committed to providing him with a platform to share his music with the world. As Mitch’s journey on America’s Got Talent continues and his music resonates with an expanding audience, we look forward to the remarkable moments that lie ahead,” said Hedley.
Throughout his career, Mitch Rossell has written hit singles for country music greats, performed with just an acoustic guitar in front of thousands of fans in support of Garth Brooks and most recently, won over the hearts of viewers and the judges on Season 18 of America’s Got Talent.
In June, he auditioned for the competition show using his original song, “Son,” which he dubbed the “most personal thing I’ve ever written.” The song was released in the beginning of 2023 and finds Rossell honoring his promise to his late father by pursuing his musical talents and using his impressive vocals to heal painful memories. As he puts pen to paper with Dave Turnbull, the East Tennessee native delivers his utmost raw emotions.
It was clear from the reactions shown on the screen that the singer had captivated the hearts of each person in the room and even his fellow contestants as he poured out his raw emotions in the unforgettable chorus.
Then on August 22, Rossell returned to the AGT stage during the semi-final rounds to perform another original song titled, “All I Need To See,” which has amassed over 30 million all-time streams. Once again, he earned rave reviews from the panel of judges including Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel, and Sofia Vergara.
“Mitch, you sing with such emotion. I mean that was such a catchy, romantic song. I think you’re the perfect, perfect talent that America is gonna fall in love with,” Vergara said at the time.
Cowell followed up by saying, “You are the real deal,” while Heide Klum added, “You are radio-ready. You’re great. Your songs are great. You have an amazing family and you seem like a really great guy. I wish you all the best.”
Mandel even predicted that Rossell was “the act to beat.” Unfortunately, this prediction did not come true as he was one of nine acts eliminated from moving forward to the next round.
Although his time in the competition has come to an end, Rossell has teased that there is plenty more on the horizon.
“It didn’t go our way tonight, but it’s definitely all good, y’all,” he wrote on social media in response to his recent elimination. “I’m honestly overwhelmed and floored by the love y’all always pour on me and this music I make. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much. You keep me going! This was a great chapter and a lot of fun. Now I’m excited to see what God has in store.”
Rossell is currently gearing up to impact airwaves with the radio edit of his most-streamed song to date, “All I Need To See.” This soulful tune has already resonated with audiences worldwide, and with the revamped version heading to radio, listeners will fall in love with the captivating melody all over again.

Fans will continue to see his star power shine throughout his run of upcoming live performances. Mitch Rossell is next slated to appear at the Summersville Potato Festival in Summersville, WV on Sept. 9 before making his way to Texas, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina.
