For the first time in nine years, Wynonna Judd will be taking the stage at The Venetian Theatre inside The Venetian Resort Las Vegas for “The Greatest Hits” celebration. This run of three special performances taking place during NFR Week in December will treat concert goers to a setlist of some of Wynonna’s biggest hits in honor of her 40th anniversary as a live entertainer.
The last time Wynonna appeared in this Sin City venue was back in 2015 during “The Judds – Girls Night Out” nine-show residency with her late mother Naomi Judd. Together, they made an incredible impact on country music as The Judds and although Wynonna will be returning solo this time, she is looking forward to commemorating her latest milestone with a room full of her loyal fans.
“Sometimes I feel like you just need to throw a big party for yourself! This is a milestone year for me,” Wynonna shared. “Mom and I played our very first show in 1984, which means I’ve been performing live for 40 years. That’s more than half of my life! ‘The Greatest Hits’ celebration is a chance for the fans and I to celebrate. They have been with me for so long and my hope is that everyone will get to hear their favorite song. How many hits can we fit into one show? Let’s find out!!!!”
The upcoming shows are scheduled to take place Wednesday, Dec. 11, Friday, Dec. 13 and Saturday, Dec. 14, 2024, all starting at 8:30 p.m.
To share the news, the “Tell Me Why” singer took to social media on Monday morning and unveiled a lighthearted video, letting fans know to “meet me at the table.” The wholesome music suddenly shifts to the upbeat melody of Elvis Presley’s “Viva Las Vegas” as the camera simultaneously focuses outside her window where we see the table she was referencing. Wynonna brought a bit of Las Vegas to her own backyard and got an early start on the gambling with the help of her husband, Cactus Moser, who made a hilarious cameo in the clip.
Tickets start at $49.50, plus applicable fees. Presale for the Wynation Fan Club starts Tuesday, July 9 at 10am PT and the general on-sale opens to the public on Friday, July 12, at 10 a.m. PT.Tickets will be available for purchase at Ticketmaster.com.
Before making her way to Vegas, Wynonna will bring her Back To The Way Tour to the West Coast this fall. Starting September 6 in Hutchinson, KS and running through October 5, the female songstress will perform her debut and sophomore solo albums front to back, allowing her to relive some of the greatest moments of her career alongside her fans.
In preparation for the next leg of the tour, Wynonna shared, “I still remember the feeling of going out on my own for my first solo tour. In a way, it feels like HERstory repeating itself. This time around, I feel less pressure and like I can lean into the joy that we create together each night onstage. I’m so excited for a second chance to celebrate these 2 albums that are so important to me. (And to you!) West Coast… it’s your turn!!!!! 🫶🏼🥹”
