Buzzed about country newcomer Zach Top just announced plans to to embark on a headlining tour in 2025.
The Washington native is set to bring his brand of traditional country music across the U.S. beginning January 16. The Cold Beer & Country Music Tour will make stops in Denver, Colorado, Cincinnati, Ohio, Tulsa, Oklahoma, Nashville, Tennessee, and more before wrapping up on March 8 in Atlanta, Georgia.
Pre-sale tickets for the tour go live today, September 17, at 10:00 am local time, with general sales beginning this Friday, September 20, at 10:00am local time. For a complete list of tour dates, see below. For further ticketing details, visit www.zachtop.com/tour.
Having toured with artists like Luke Bryan, Dierks Bentley, Brothers Osborne, and Lainey Wilson, Top is more than ready to step into the spotlight and headline his own shows.
The rising star has been praised for bringing real country music back to country radio with his chart-climbing single, “Sounds Like The Radio.” Infused with Top’s signature twang and an infectious top-tapping country melody, the song recently cracked into the top 20 at country radio and continues to climb the charts.
In a recent interview with Country Now, Top revealed the story behind the song and acknowledged that it reflects his own upbringing.
“I just feel like I grew up living and breathing this music and specifically what I fell in love with was old-school stuff – George Strait and Alan Jackson and Keith Whitley,” he shared. “And as long as that was getting played on the radio, I was listening to the radio and when that kind of went away, I quit listening to the radio and I guess had to find it on CDs and Spotify and all that good stuff. So it means a little bit to me to kind of bring some of that flavor back, some of that classic country sound back to country radio, something I think has been missing for a long time. If we can get this old country shuffle up the charts, I’ll feel like maybe I’ve done something for country music.”
“Sounds Like The Radio” is featured on Top’s debut album, Cold Beer & Country Music, which was released last spring.
Most recently, Zach Top turned heads with the release of “Beer For Breakfast,” a playful track that highlights the rising star’s love for beer, expressing his belief that it’s the perfect drink no matter the time of day.
“Don’t go looking for some deep message in this song,” Top said of the track. “This is a fun loving, country ass way of lettin people know, if they didn’t already, I like beer!!”
Top recently earned his first-ever CMA Awards nomination when he was recognized in the CMA New Artist of the Year category for the upcoming 58th Annual CMA Awards. He is nominated alongside Megan Moroney, Shaboozey, Nate Smith, Mitchell Tenpenny, and Bailey Zimmerman. The winner will be announced during the 58th Annual CMA Awards on November 20.
