“God sure has blessed us, and we can’t wait to see the child of God she will become,” he wrote.

Fans and followers, including fellow Idol alum Zachariah Smith, flooded the post with love and congratulations for the couple and their baby girl.

The South Carolina native turned heads during Season 21 of American Idol when he auditioned with the Zach Williams song “To The Table.”

“Coming into American Idol, I truly feel like this is a game changer for me,” Peay shared ahead of his audition. “I want to get out and play as much as possible….make it a career. I think my church is super proud that I’m going, and I’m so glad to have that support behind me.”

His performance led the judges to compare him to the one and only Chris Stapleton.

In the Hollywood round, Warren sang “Stone” by Whiskey Myers and a Tim McGraw and Faith Hill duet. He continued to advance in the competition and went on to sing hits like “Set Fire To The Rain” byu Adele, “Up There Down Here” by Zach Williams, and more.

For his Top 10 performance, Warren delivered a fantastic performance of “Colder Weather” by Zac Brown Band,” but unfortunately, his time on the show came to and end during the Top 8.

He had the opportunity to return to the Idol stage during finale week to perform with country superstar Lainey Wilson and fellow contestant, Marybeth Byrd.

Following his departure from the show, the appliance repairman admitted to experiencing imposter syndrome.

“I still look at it sometimes and get like ‘Imposter Syndrome’ and you’re like, ‘you know, none of this happened. That wasn’t me,’” he shared during an interview with Good Morning Augusta. “And then I go back and watch it.”

While he may no longer have the platform of American Idol, Warren Peay continues to share his music on social media, including a series he dubbed “Church Pew Sessions.”
