Artist-on-the-rise, Ashley Cooke is set to make her national television debut alongside Brett Young on tonight’s episode of ABC’s The Bachelorette.
The singer/songwriter originally shared the news to her 1 million-plus fans on TikTok, revealing plans to perform “Never Til Now,” her romantic duet with Brett Young, on the second episode of the famed show.
“Getting to make my TV debut is unbelievably exciting in general, but especially getting to debut on “The Bachelorette!” It was so fun to get to marry the two worlds of TV and music and to do it all with my friend and duet partner, Brett Young,” Cooke shared in a statement.
She added, “It’s been incredible to see how my song “Never Til Now” has resonated with so many people in every phase of love whether they’ve found their person or they’re manifesting it through these lyrics. It’s an honor to get to be the voice behind the story and to get to be a small part of Rachel and Gabby’s journey to finding love.”
“Never Til Now” was originally released as a solo single by Cooke. She later teamed up with Young to give new life to the fan-favorite track.
The reimaged version of the track features intoxicating vocals from Cooke and Young as they croon over a love they never saw coming.
“I never wanted to tap my brakes/ I never wanted to settle down/ I was always one foot out the door/ I never thought about turning ’round/ Never saw myself with a white picket fence dug into the ground/ Never ’til now,” the pair sweetly sings on the chorus.
Written by Cooke alongside Matt Roy and produced by award-winner Jimmy Robbins, “Never Til Now” originally appears on Cooke’s debut project Already Drank That Beer, released in August of 2021.

Ashley Cooke has had a busy summer touring across the nation with artists such as Cole Swindell, Jordan Davis, and Brett Young. Stopping at several high-profile festivals along the way, Cooke will soon head back out to support Swindell on his Back Down To The Bar Tour.
Featuring the two new bachelorettes, Rachel Recchia and Gabby Windey, this episode of The Bachelorette is scheduled to air tonight, Monday, July 18, at 8/7c, on ABC.
Finding true friendship within each other through their season of The Bachelor, Recchia and Windey became fan favorites after they helped each other overcome heartbreak. The pair continue to support each other’s every move in their journey to find love on the 19th season of The Bachelorette(s) – a never-done-before twist on the show where there are two leads.
