Kane Brown just announced his long-awaited third studio album, Different Man.
CMT revealed the album title and cover art on a billboard in New York City’s Time Square on Monday morning (July 18). Brown made history as he is the first artist ever to reveal his album cover on the billboard.
Releasing on September 9, Different Man will be available for pre-order beginning this Friday, July 22.
Fans selected the official album art via social media when Brown showcased two options earlier this month.
Coinciding with the pre-order, the country hitmaker will also release a new song from the project. Brown will release “Grand,” a song that Brown has been teasing throughout social media for several days.
The project will feature a whopping 17 songs, including his latest single “Like I Love Country Music,” “One Mississippi,” “Whiskey Sour,” “Leave You Alone,” and his forthcoming new song “Grand.”
Brown has previously teased several songs that fans hope will appear on the new album, including “I’ve Been There,” “Nothing ‘Bout Loving You I’d Change,” “Bury Me In Georgia,” “Riot,” “Drunk or Dreaming,” and the highly-anticipated duet with his wife Katelyn.
Different Man follows Brown’s second studio album, 2018’s Experiment. In August of 2020, Brown released his ACM-nominated EP, Mixtape Vol. 1, which included several hit singles such as “Cool Again,” “Worldwide Beautiful” “Worship You” and his Top 40 radio single, “Be Like That” featuring Khalid and Swae Lee.
Later this year, Brown will embark on a massive international tour, dubbed the Drunk or Dreaming Tour.
The trek will feature special guests Restless Road, Jessie James Decker, Blanco Brown and Chris Lane on select dates. Kicking off on September 17 in Melbourne, Australia, the tour will continue through Australia, New Zealand, Canada, UK, and Europe.
The Drunk or Dreaming Tour marks Brown’s first time touring in Australia and New Zealand, and his long-awaited return to Canada and Europe.
