Ashley McBryde is gearing up to host an epic fan club show at Eric Church’s Nashville bar, Chief’s, on Friday, September 6. The GRAMMY winner is expected to throw a “party for the ages” as she revisits the “bad old bar days” from her early career with a room full of her most loyal listeners, known as the Trybe.

“They’re coming from all over the world to go to the fan club show,” McBryde recently told Country Now. “We try to choose a different theme and do something fun each year, but I realized that people that didn’t know about me in the bar days, they didn’t know about me until ‘Girl Going Nowhere’ or ‘Never Will’ or ‘The Devil I Know’ or ‘Lindeville’ so they didn’t get to experience the bar show. So we decided we’ll do that at Chief’s.”

Whether you’ve been a longtime listener of Ashley McBryde or you’ve recently fallen in love with her music, this night will give fans the unique opportunity to see what her in this intimate setting that replicates where it all began for her. This means that along with playing her own hits, she will dive into some classics that everyone will be able to sing along to, and even plans to take requests along the way.

“If you scream ‘Brown Eyed Girl’ at the stage, I’ll play it. That kind of thing. We won’t have a tip jar…maybe we could put requests in the tip jar,” she shared.

While this will be a slightly different show than McBryde usually puts on, it will prove that the same spirit and drive she had before anyone knew her name still lives on as she conquers bigger venues and racks up more hits each year.

“Anything that would’ve happened in the bars, that’s what I want them to get to experience, because that’s what I draw from when I’m on stage every night. It doesn’t matter if it’s an amphitheater or an arena or a theater, I still think about beer bottles breaking and pool cues flying across the room. That’s the kind of energy we want to bring.”

The Arkansas native recently shared a sneak peek into the set she and her band are building out. The video on Instagram captured them playing their rendition of the beloved Van Morrison classic, “Brown Eyed Girl.”

Her caption read, “Oh nothing to see here. Just 6 people with instruments playing a song that’s fun to sing…just like the Bad Old days in the bar!! *Wink wink* see you soon.”

The Trybe Fan Club Party kicks off at 8 PM at Chief’s, located on Nashville’s lower Broadway. For fan club members who are unable to attend in person, the event will also be livestreamed from anywhere in the world for just $5. A unique access code will be required to access the virtual ticket. Learn more HERE.

The part will continue the following night when Ashley McBryde takes the stage of the Grand Ole Opry.
