Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan and Taylor Swift are among some of the highest-paid celebrities of 2020, according to a report released by Forbes on Friday (June 5).

“The world’s highest-paid celebrities earned a combined $6.1 billion before taxes and fees, a $200 million drop from 2019, after the global pandemic shuttered stadiums and silenced performances around the world,” Forbes reported. “The decline was the first since 2016, the year after Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao earned nearly half a billion dollars between them from the richest fight in boxing history.”

As reported by Forbes, Over the last 12 months, Shelton earned 43.5 million, Bryan earned 45.5 million and Swift earned 63.5 million.

Blake Shelton ranks at No. 70 on the Forbes’ list of 100 of the highest-paid celebrities. Singing put Shelton on the map, however he has earns far more from The Voice now than he does from his recorded music, according to Forbes. He makes a whopping $13 million per season for his role as a judge alongside Nick Jonas, Kelly Clarkson and John Legend.

Shelton was also grossing just under $1 million per city on tour prior to the current global health crisis. He has earned several hit singles over the last year including “God’s Country,” the Trace Adkins assisted song “Hell Right” and his latest No. 1 hit duet with his girlfriend Gwen Stefani, “Nobody But You.” He also was listed as one of the highest paid celebrities in 2019, earning $32 million.

Luke Bryan comes in at No. 62 on the list, Recently being forced to push back his Proud To Be Right Here Tour and his forthcoming album, Born Here Live Here Die Here, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Prior to the pandemic, Bryan was reportedly averaging a gross of more than $1 million per city while on tour. However, He has several additional sources of income outside of music, including his position as a judge on American Idol, where he earns an estimated $12 million per season. Bryan also was listed as one of the highest paid celebrities in 2019, earning $42.5 million.

Taylor Swift comes in at No. 25 on the list, with most of her earnings coming from her seventh studio album, Lover, which consisted of hit songs like “Me!,” “You Need To Calm Down,” her latest single “The Man” and of course the title track “Lover.” The album marks the first released under her new deal with Republic Records and sold over 4 million units from June 2019 till now.

She also released a Netflix documentary earlier this year titled, Miss Americana, directed by Emmy-award winner Lana Wilson. Swift was also forced to cancel all of her 2020 tour dates due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, however plans to reschedule some for 2021.

Other celebrities on the 2020 list include Ariana Grande, Kayne West, Kylie Jenner, Jonas Brothers, Elton John, Ellen Degeneres and more.

In 2019, the list also boasted of country stars Garth Brooks, Keith Urban, Florida Georgia Line, Jason Aldean, Shania Twain, Eric Church, Kenny Chesney and more.
