Morgan Wallen is ill and has been forced to reschedule three upcoming concerts on his One Night At A Time World Tour.

The country superstar took to social media late Friday afternoon (July 12), just hours before he was set to take the stage in Tampa, Florida, to reveal the unfortunate news to fans.

“I hate to reschedule shows but I powered through being sick in Tampa last night, and unfortunately woke up feeling way worse today,” he wrote. “I would not give you guys anywhere near 100% tonight and as a result, I need to move tonight’s Tampa show to Oct. 4 and next week’s Charlotte shows to Oct. 18 and 19.”

Wallen performed at Tampa, Florida’s Raymond James Stadium on Thursday evening (July 11). As he explained in his message to fans, he was ill and powered through, however, he is unable to perform this evening. The Tampa show originally scheduled for tonight will now take place on Friday, October 4.

Wallen was scheduled to perform in Charlotte, North Carolina at Bank of America Stadium on Thursday, July 18, and Friday, July 19, however, those shows have now been rescheduled for Friday, October 18, and Saturday, October 19.

According to his current tour schedule, Wallen’s next shows will take place on July 25 and July 26 where is he slated to perform back-to-back nights at the home of the Dallas Cowboys: AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

The news comes just after Wallen returned from London where he played the largest country concert ever in the United Kingdom with 50,000 fans at BST Hyde Park on July 4. This marked Wallen’s first U.K. appearance since performing to a sold-out crowd at The O2 in December of 2023.

Wallen currently sits atop the Billboard Country Airplay Chart for the fourth consecutive week with “I Had Some Help,” his collaboration with Post Malone. According to country radio insider Chris Owen, this is the longest-running No.1 single at country radio this year so far.

Following his buzzed-about London show, the East Tennessee native released the long-awaited studio recording of his song, “Lies, Lies, Lies.” The track showcases a softer side of Wallen. Throughout the lyrics, he admits to struggling to move on from a breakup. While he tries to convince himself that he no longer thinks of his ex and that he’s no longer attempting to drink away her memory, he ultimately admits that he’s in denial and that everything he tries to make himself believe are “Lies, Lies, Lies.”

On the chorus, he acknowledges the lies he tells to himself and others about moving on.

“Lies, lies, lies/ Look into my eyes, eyes, eyes/ I’m still a fool for you/ Nothing I wouldn’t do for you/ Lies, lies, lies/ Girl, I’m on a downhill dive/ Habits and hard heartbreaks are hard to break/ So I just tell the same old lies, lies, lies/ Yeah, baby I can try, try, try,” he sings.

The song is now available for immediate adds at country radio, indicating that this is indeed his new single.
