Brett Young is celebrating his second anniversary with his wife, Taylor, and he took to social media to share the sweetest message for his “Lady.”
The singer/songwriter reminisced on their wedding day with a stunning photo along with a note he penned just for Taylor.
“BEST 2 YEARS OF MY LIFE,” he wrote and tagged Taylor’s official account. “Thank you so much for choosing me as your person and partner. I’m the luckiest boy in the world and I pinch myself everyday. I never dreamed to have a life, home, or family anywhere near this beautiful and it’s all because of you. Our daughter is turning into her mom and it brings so much joy to my heart because you’re the best mama and role model in the world. You are truly my better half and I can’t imagine doing life without you. I love you SO MUCH! Happy anniversary, my love!
Brett and Taylor tied the knot on November 3, 2018 in front of 200 guests at the Bighorn Gold Club in Palm Desert, California. They exchanged vows that they had written for each other and celebrated their nuptials with performances by Gavin DeGraw, Lee Brice and Luke Combs.
What some fans may not know is that Mills later revealed that the couple actually wed a few months prior to their big California wedding in a secret ceremony in Nashville.
“We decided not to tell anyone we were married before our wedding day [with the exception of my sister because she’s the best secret keeper.] We didn’t want to take away from our wedding ceremony in November,” she shared on Instagram.
Brett and Taylor met several years prior through a mutual friend while Taylor was attending Arizona State University. After graduating, Taylor moved to Los Angeles to be closer to Brett, however, the pair broke off their six-year relationship when Young moved to Nashville to pursue his country career.
They reconnected two years later and the rest is history.
Brett and Taylor welcomed their first child, Presley Elizabeth, on October 21, 2019.
