Just hours before the release of her first book, Carrie Underwood has unveiled a new fitness app, fit52.

Now available for download on iOS, the app was created to encourage and support people on their personal wellness journeys. Designed with those who have a busy lifestyle in mind, the fit52 app features fitness routines that are simple to do anywhere, anytime and in as little as 30 minutes. Underwood created the workout routines alongside her longtime personal trainer, Eve Overland.

“Fitness is a true passion for me,” Underwood shared in a statement. “The fit52 app incorporates what I’ve been doing myself for years, and we’ve made it easy and totally accessible for anyone that wants help to work in working out. We worked really hard to create a high-quality, user-friendly app that is designed for busy people and their busy lives. fit52 meets you wherever you are on your health journey, and I’m so proud of it.”

Annual subscriptions are available for $52/year, which equals just $1 a week.

The innovative approach to workouts gives users a different routine each time, depending on the hand of virtual playing cards they are dealt. Each card coincides with a different exercise and number of reps, which are randomly revealed, providing users with a full-body workout each time.

Underwood’s fitness and lifestyle book, FIND YOUR PATH: Honor Your Body, Fuel Your Soul, and Get Strong with the Fit52 Life, hits shelves Tuesday, March 3. The book introduces fans to the fit52 program and details her personal health and fitness journey. Inside, the Oklahoma native also opens up about navigating the “pressure to look perfect” and “fit the mold” after winning American Idol and in the beginning stages of her country music career.
