CMA Awards host Carrie Underwood will take a break from show rehearsals to make the media rounds in New York City on Friday (Nov. 8).
The superstar is set to appear on ABC’s Good Morning America during the 8 am hour to talk all things CMA Awards. She will then head over to the set of the nationally-syndicated Live with Kelly and Ryan where she will co-host the show alongside her longtime friend Ryan Seacrest.
The appearances are both in support of The 53rd Annual CMA Awards, in which Underwood will host for the 12th consecutive year. This year, however, she will be joined by special guest hosts Reba McEntire and Dolly Parton.
Announced Thursday morning, the hosts will be joined by Terri Clark, Sara Evans, Crystal Gayle, The Highwomen, Martina McBride, Jennifer Nettles, Tanya Tucker and Gretchen Wilson for the show’s opening number. Each artist will perform iconic country songs in a never-before-seen medley that will span across decades of the genre.
The 53rd Annual CMA Awards will air live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday, Nov. 13 at 8/7c on ABC.
