Dan + Shay’s Shay Mooney and his wife, Hannah, have their fourth baby on the way! The couple shared the news with fans on Monday, July 29 through a joint Instagram post.

The adorable clip first found the country star and his other half sitting on their couch alone, then slowly each of their three sons joined in their birth order – Asher James, 7½, Ames Alexander, 4, and Abram, 18 months.

At the very end, Hannah leaned over her family to show the positive pregnancy test and all five of them joined together in a group hug as the song “Million Little Miracles (feat. Joe L Barnes)” played in the background.

“1, 2, 3, 4….,” they wrote in their caption.

Fans and fellow country stars took to the comment section of the post to pen sweet words and congratulatory messages for the soon-to-be family of six.

Kimberly Schlapman of Little Big Town wrote, “Oh my goodness!!!! Congrats!!!,” Russell Dickerson boasted with a “YOOOOOOOO!” and Lindsay Ell shared three heart-eyed emojis.

Shay Mooney And Hannah’s Love Story

Shay and Hannah first met through social media and instantly felt a strong connection to one another. After the country singer popped the question on August 9, 2016, the couple learned they were pregnant with their first child, Asher James, whom they welcomed on January 24, 2017. Their little one got to be a part of their special day which took place on Mooney’s family farm on October 20, 2017. They later welcomed Ames Alexander on February 21, 2020 and Abram Shay on January 17, 2023.

Heartbreak On The Map Summer Tour

Although he appears to have his hands full at home, Shay Mooney and his his musical partner Dan Smyers are also busy on the road with Dan + Shay’s current headlining trek. Named after a track off their latest Bigger Houses album, the Heartbreak On The Map Summer Tour kicked off on July 18 in Cincinnati, OH and runs through September 21. Joining them on this stint of shows are special guests Jake Owen and Dylan Marlowe.

Following their recent sold-out show in Toronto, ON, the duo took to social media to reflect on the success of the first few stops on the summer run and to share the utmost excitement towards getting to continue bringing music to fans all across the U.S. over the next few months.

They first announced that they had broken a personal attendance record in Canada that they had set for themselves following opening weekend in Indiana. Upon seeing that success, they asked if they should plan a full Canadian tour, causing the comment section to erupt in pleas from fans to make that happen.

“Thinking maybe that would be a good idea,” they said before continuing to boast about their following shows. “Next stop was Syracuse, NY at one of the most beautiful venues in America. Even though the locals advise not to swim in the lake, it still makes for a perfect concert backdrop on a 70-degree summer night. If it took us a little longer to run up to the lawn, it’s because we tried our hand at pickleball during the day. Might be sore until Christmas,” they joked.

Dan + Shay went on to recount their time in Gilford, NH, where they played at “the venue of all venues,” BankNH Pavilion.

“We’ve been looking forward to this show since the day we booked the tour, and it did not disappoint. We spent the afternoon out on the lake, and did ALL the outdoor activities one could possibly imagine. Summer camp vibes. The show was absolutely electric, maybe the rowdiest crowd yet, and it propelled us into a late night hang with our entire touring crew. When in Gilford, you can’t not, even though it made for a rough 6 AM flight back to Nashville this morning.”

They ended their message by saying, “We’re grateful for everyone buying tickets to these shows, we’re having the time of our lives. Can’t wait to do it all again in Detroit, Pittsburgh (HOMETOWN SHOW), and Bristow this weekend. Much love, and keep streaming Bigger Houses. 🏡”
