Rising star Dasha made her Grand Ole Opry debut on Saturday evening (June 15), captivating the crowd with a two-song performance that earned a standing ovation.

The singer/songwriter treated the packed-out Opry crowd to a performance of her breakout smash “Austin” as well as her song “Talk of the Town.” Both tracks are featured on her debut country album, What Happens Now?, which was released in February of this year.

Following her memorable performance, Dasha shared, “It was such an honor to get to step into that circle. The Opry is the home of country music and from the second I stepped in the building, I could feel the magic that everyone always talks about.”

When she was invited to make her debut, the songstress admitted, “I’ve been thinking about the moment that I might get my chance to step into the Opry circle since I came to Nashville for the first time when I was 13.”

Dasha recently checked another item off her bucket list when she performed at Nissan Stadium during CMA Fest. This marked her first-ever CMA Fest and first time playing in a stadium.

Following her whirlwind CMA Fest, which also included a performance with Keith Urban at Spotify House, Dasha confessed that she was “still pinching myself” over the milestone career moments.

Dasha has amassed over 10 billion views on TikTok and rose to No.5  on the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart with her single “Austin.” Additionally, the song has secured a spot in the Top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at No. 20. Dasha’s release “What Happens Now?” also propelled her to No.2 on the Billboard Emerging Artists Chart, while reaching No.124 on the Billboard 200.

“Austin” came to life in a cinematic music video released by Dasha in April. The clip perfectly depicts the song’s dramatic storyline about a breakup and the feeling of betrayal that accompanies it.

The Hunter Moreno-directed video stars Dasha in the lead role alongside guest star jxdn, who portrays the boyfriend in the toxic on-screen relationship. Filmed at Rebel Ranch, about 35 minutes from Nashville, the video takes viewers on an intense ride through the demise of the relationship and includes flashbacks to a time when they were happily in love.

“There’s such a visual story in the song that it made it really easy to have this vision come to life. When we were casting the lead role, I knew I wanted someone that I already knew but that it needed to be someone who could play that drunk, messed up asshole boyfriend and jxdn was so excited to play that role,” Dasha previously told Country Now
