Gabby Barrett celebrated her daughter’s 1st Birthday at “The Most Magical Place on Earth” — Disney World!
The country star, who performed her first show of the year on Monday evening with a private show at VMX, the world’s leading veterinary conference, appears to have visited the Magic Kingdom while in Orlando. Barrett, alongside her husband and bandmate, Cade Foehner, and their daughter, Baylah May, posed in front of Cinderella’s castle to celebrate the occasion.
Barrett documented their Magic Kingdom experience on Instagram and even included a video of one of the pop-up princess parades from inside the park.
“Happy 1st birthday to my heart. My precious little girl. My daughter,” Barrett captioned the post. “It’s not possible to explain in words the love a mother has for her child. But being a parent, has made me appreciate my mother and father a whole lot more for what they did for my siblings and I. I will defend and protect you always. My number one goal in this life does not have to do with singing/entertaining, but raising a God fearing Christian, who loves Christ more than her mom and dad could ever. Praise God for you my love, and for motherhood. Mama & Dada love you always.”

Baylah May was born on January 18, 2021.
During an interview with Bobby Bones on The Bobby Bones Show, the chart-topping star shared how her daughter’s first name was inspired by her husband’s sister.
“Cade’s sister’s name is Bailey Blane and I was just kind of trying to spin off of that ’cause I like the name Bailey, but I wanted something that was a little more original,” Barrett shared. “I was in the airport just messing with it and I was like, ‘Bailey, Baylah,’ and I was like, ‘Oh, I like Baylah’ and I put it down in my notes.”
As for her middle name, that came from Barrett’s side of the family.
“My sister was born in the month of May and so we did Baylah May,” the American Idol alum shared at the time.
Barrett and Foehner met on the set of Idol in 2018. Their relationship continued to flourish after the show, and Foehner eventually popped the question in March of 2019. The pair tied the knot six months later, October 5, 2019.

Barrett is back at country radio now with her new single, “Pick Me Up.”
The track is differently than anything she’s released thus far and even gives a shout-out to George Strait.
“I wrote ‘Pick Me Up’ with Ross [Copperman] and Jon [Nite]. I didn’t really have a song in my repertoire that was laid-back Country – a riding down the backroads while listening to George Strait-type of song,” the multi-platinum star shared. “I had to pay homage to George Strait because I feel like I’m being adopted into the Texas family with my husband being from Texas.”
The track appears on Barrett’s recently released project, “GOLDMINE (DELUXE),” the extended version of her highly praised GOLD-selling debut album.
