George Birge is bringing plenty of flirtation to his latest release, “Boots Up,” a mid-tempo country track that captures the spark between two people who can’t seem to get enough of each other.
Written alongside Trannie Anderson, Brock Berryhill and Micah Carpenter, the mid-tempo tune blends a gritty, Western-inspired sound with Birge’s smooth vocals demonstrating a confident and slightly sultry edge. As he delivers the tongue-in-cheek lyrics, he fulfills his mission of placing the listener right into the moment with the couple.
“Baby when you kick them boots up/ On the dash of my new truck/ Hotter than the sun in Tuscaloosa/ What’s a country boy to do/ Lord, He took his time on you/ From them long leg Lucchese’s to your belt buckle hips/ to your blonde waves waving in the west Texas wind/ Baby I love everything about you from your boots up/ From your boots up,” Birge sings.

Birge explains to Country Now that the idea for “Boots Up” came from co-writer Trannie Anderson who brought it into the writer’s room and had everyone instantly hooked.
“From the minute we started writing the song we had one goal: make it fun,” he noted.
That playful approach carries throughout the track, with Birge proving the undeniable connection at hand as he lets his woman know that everything about her simply feels irresistible to him. Fans will find that “Boots Up” delivers the perfect dose of carefree fun for a windows-down drive or brings just the right energy to keep a party going all night long.
“Definitely wanted to capture that energy…we wanted it to feel tongue in cheek and made for a party playlist,” he adds.

“Boots Up” marks the Texas native’s first release with Black River Entertainment, setting the tone for his next chapter. He described this new era as both “freeing” and “boundary pushing,” making this track a fitting introduction to what he has planned for his music moving forward.
“Black River has been a huge champion for me as an artist and this felt like a song that just jumps off the speakers, perfect for the excitement of what’s next.”
Birge is already building anticipation for his next project, giving fans plenty to look forward to. So far, the country act says he has recorded five new songs and is feeling “as inspired as ever” by the music that he’s creating right now
“We’ve got songs that feel sonically familiar to the hits you know me for and songs that push me both in production and lyric, I am so proud of what we’ve put together so far and I cannot wait to start sharing more music very soon,” he said, offering a glimpse of what fans can expect from the upcoming releases.
Birge has already been previewing his newest country anthem live on the road throughout his Cowboy Songs Tour, which launched at the end of July and is set to continue through November 21, with his final stop taking place in Cleveland, OH.
When asked about the highlights of the tour so far, Birge called out the fans for being one of the biggest reasons that this headline trek has felt so special.
“The fans have continued to surprise me, so many cities we are visiting for the first time as a headliner with no expectations and walking into full rooms every night has been a literal dream come true.”
“Boots up” is available for listening now and fans can head to George Birge’s official website to find all his upcoming tour dates.
