Shelton’s album was up against some stiff competition in the category as Luke Combs’ What You See Is What You Get and Morgan Wallen’s If I Know Me were also nominated.

Blake Shelton’s AMA win comes just one week after he took home the title of Top Country Artist during the 2020 E! People’s Choice Awards.
