Jon Pardi and Summer Fawn Duncan are officially Mr. and Mrs.!
The couple said “I do” on Saturday evening (Nov. 21) at Saddle Woods Farm in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. They were surrounded by a small group of family and friends after cutting their guest list twice due to the ongoing pandemic.
The couple originally planned to tie the knot in Montana in May, however, those plans were scrapped.
“Originally we were getting married in Montana in May, which was going to be unreal,” Duncan, 31, told PEOPLE. “We had an entire lodge rented out for three days for a wedding weekend extravaganza with events daily, a spa, chefs … But then COVID hit, and that all went away. With the sudden postponement — and Jon still having a full tour schedule — we were very limited with available dates.”

After re-evaluating their guest list, Pardi and Duncan settled on the next best thing.
“We had a friend who was married at Saddle Woods last year, and when we walked into their wedding, Jon was like, ‘This is the most amazing wedding and venue ever,’” she explained. “So when we had to cancel our destination wedding, they were naturally the first venue we called when we knew we had to keep things closer to home. There’s never a right time in 2020 to get married, so after all the planning and replanning we were just happy we got to do it.”
The bride and groom hope to someday celebrate with their friends and family across the country. Until then, they will enjoy each other.
“With so much of our families being in California we had to make the tough decision to downsize (drastically) twice, and we ended up with a small group of just our immediate family and closest friends in town,” Duncan went on to share. “We hope to eventually have a ‘wedding tour’ as Jon calls it and celebrate with all our family and friends in California, Nashville and Texas.”
Pardi and Duncan took extra safety precautions due to COVID, including testing all guests on-site and offering everyone custom “Parditime” masks to wear. They also swapped the buffet for a sit-down meal at tables that were spaced apart and had sanitation stations placed around the venue.
Jon and Summer got engaged in 2019 on the stage of the famed Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. They initially met in 2017.
