Members of country music’s newest, most-buzzed-about band, Hot Country Knights, are preparing for the upcoming release of their debut album, The K Is Silent.

The 10-song project, out May 1, includes the band’s debut single, “Pick Her Up,” featuring Travis Tritt, and several other tracks, all produced by superstar Dierks Bentley.

“We were out on the road singing a lot of other people’s hits, and we called them Greatest Hits because by us singing them, it actually made them great,” lead singer Doug Douglason explains. “But this is a step beyond our Greatest Hits. This is all original material, and it’s the best stuff to come out of Nashville from a man band in several decades.”

If the song titles are any indication of what’s the come on this album, it looks like fans are in for a wild ride. Song title such as “You Make It Hard,” “Wrangler Danger” and “Mull It Over” suggest the Hot Country Knights are going to bring the laughs, while making ’90s country cool again, with this album.

Prior to the release of The K Is Silent, the Hot Country Knights will kick off the 2020 One Knight Stand Tour on April 7. The headlining run will take the ’90s influenced band to major markets, including Los Angeles, Chicago and Boston.
