Ian Flanigan had The Voice viewers feeling all the feels with a soaring cover of Sarah McLachlan’s “Angel” during the show’s semi-finals on Monday evening (Dec. 7).
The fan-favorite contestant dedicated his performance to his new fiancée.
“This is a song that could get you in the finale,” coach Blake Shelton told him prior to his performance.
Flanigan’s rendition of the song brought all four coaches to their feet.

“You can sing anything! Like any song,” Kelly Clarkson gushed, adding, “Your voice is one of my favorite voices to ever come across this stage. You are so blessed.”
Shelton credited Clarkson for the song selection and when on to praise Flanigan’s performance, telling him his performance was “dead on.”
Fans can vote for Ian Flanigan to advance to the next round by visiting the official The Voice voting website, casting a vote via The Voice‘s official app or voting from their Google Assistant. There is a limit of 10 votes per artist per method.
