Summer of 2021 may be winding down, but The Voice winner Jake Hoot is keeping the summertime vibes going with his new single, “Night Left.”

“Night Left” finds Hoot soaking up a night on the town with friends. Not wanting the fun to end just yet, Hoot declares, “Don’t come if you can’t keep up/ We came here to party/ Just getting started.”

Hoot, who describes the track as an “upbeat, party, summer type vibe song,” co-wrote “Night Left” with Danny Myrick and Kylie Sackley.

“We got a little thump in the Pioneers/ A little redneck punch and ice cold beer/ If ya thinking we can’t drink it/ Without ever even breaking a sweat/ Aight bet/ We got a half moon pull parking lot/ A little bail ya out if the cops show up/ A little hell we can sleep when we’re dead/ And a Whole Lotta Night Left,” he sings on the chorus.

To accompany the release of the single, Hoot debuted the “Night Left” music video.

Directed by Taylor Ballantyne, the clip has Hoot playing the role of an overprotective father to a teenage daughter, as well as himself in the performance scenes.

The music video was shot in Hoot’s hometown of Cookeville, Tennessee and even features the Putnam County Police Department as they rush to the scene to break up the wild party.

The release of “Night Left” follows Hoot’s debut EP, Love Out Of Time.
