Jake Owen Appreciates The Little Moments In ‘1×1’ Music Video

Currently out on the road this summer for his headlining Up There Down Here Tour, country hitmaker Jake Owen took a moment to pause and reflect on the little things in life in the official music video for his current release, “1×1.”

The simplistic video features clips of Owen strumming along to his guitar with visuals of some of the best small moments playing behind him in the background – moments such as riding a bike in the wind, driving down a backroad, watching the waves in the ocean, and more. Shot at a soundstage in Nashville, director Ryan Smith encapsulates the small moments that mean the most in just three minutes.

The clip brings the meaning of the song to life through visuals and it’s something the country chart-topper is proud of.

Making the video even more special to Owen, his fiancé and two daughters, Pearl (9) and Paris (3), joined him on set during the filming of the project.

“The second I heard ‘1×1’ it resonated with me, and I knew that I wanted to be a part of it. Working with Spidey to make this song soar on screen was a great experience, and having my family there made it even more meaningful. It’s sentimental and fun and tells a story; I’m excited to share it with you,” Owen shared.

Jake Owen recently celebrated the chart-topping success of his latest radio single, “Best Thing Since Backroads” when it claimed the top spot on the Country Aircheck/Mediabase chart earlier this month.

“Let’s go! Boys and girls, the #1 song in all the land of country music,” Owen excitedly said upon hearing the news. “Thank you so much, holy frickin’ cow. It’s a Monday and having the #1 song in America is unbelievable. I could not do this first and foremost without the songwriters; you guys wrote an incredible song that’s only elevating my career. I have 10 #1 songs – I can’t even wrap my head around that. It took me seven years to get my first #1, and to think all these summers later we’re still cranking them out. To the fans – oh my gosh, the fans. You are the best thing since backroads, you have given me this life, I love you guys. You make country music what it is and I’m proud to be a part of it.”

The song marks Owen’s 10th career No.1.
