Fans are sending their love and prayers to Jake Owen and his family this morning as his two-year-old daughter, Paris, was hospitalized on her second birthday.

The country superstar took to Instagram to share a photo of little Paris in her hospital bed at the Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt in Nashville.

“Our little sweet Paris is TWO years old today. Never imagined spending her bday in the hospital,” the “Made For You” singer shared.

He went on to thank the hospital staff for “being so helpful and caring for her.”

While Owen did not specific why Paris was hospitalized, he shared that she is now on the mend.

“She seems to be doing a lot better and Erica and I are very thankful and overwhelmed by the kindness and support that so many of y’all out there have shown to us,” he graciously wrote. “Hoping to go home soon and blow some candles 🎂 out! Love y’all ❤️”

Jake Owen and his now-fiancée Erica Hartlein welcomed Paris on April 29, 2019.

The couple got engaged over the holiday season while visiting a Christmas tree farm in the Nashville area. They have yet to reveal a wedding date.

Jake and Erica met while he was shopping at one of Nashville’s most sought after furniture stores.

“She was an interior designer at Restoration Hardware, and I was buying a couch or something at the time,” Owen once shared during an appearance on the All Our Favorite People podcast. “I remember it was after I was divorced, and I remember looking at her. I was just intrigued by how beautiful she was and how she was holding court in that store that day and telling people what they needed to do. I was like ‘Wow, she’s got a lot going for her. She’s confident.’

Erica, Paris, and Owen’s daughter Pearl from his previous marriage, star in the music video for his latest single, “Made For You.”
