Jessie James Decker and her husband Eric Decker enjoyed a fun-filled date night at Monday’s CMT Music Awards.
While mostly everything went off without a hitch, the couple did experience a bit of a snafu ahead of the show when Eric forgot to wear his wedding ring.
Jessie was quick to solve the problem.
“He forgot his wedding ring, so I drew him one,” she revealed during an interview with Extra’s Alecia Davis.
Laughing, Jessie added, “I branded him with a Sharpie… Pete Davidson-style. He’s branded.”
The singer/songwriter/entrepreneur had the opportunity to perform during the show, marking her first time performing at an awards show.
“I’m so excited,” she gushed.
Jessie performed her single, “Should Have Known Better,” from The Ram Trucks stage during the star-studded telecast.
Jessie James Decker’s performance came just before the launch of her headlining The Woman I’ve Become Tour, which runs throughout the Spring.
The tour is in support of her 2021 EP of the same name, which features seven tracks. This is the first time she’ll be performing the new music for fans.
