Jon Pardi and his fiancée Summer are ringing in the Christmas holiday in The Aloha State.

After a career-defining year, which included the release of his critically acclaimed album Heartache Medication, a tour with superstar Dierks Bentley and a run of sold-out headlining shows, Pardi is going to be living on island time for the next few days in Maui.

The couple invited their families to join them on the trip and are looking forward to a low-key Hawaiian vacation leading up to Christmas.

“Me and Summer came up with the idea that well if we just invited the family, no gifts, just get your way to Hawaii, no gifts, we’re just gonna go and help celebrate as a family and everybody and Christmas in Maui,” he recently explained. “So, my mom, my sister’s coming, Summer’s parents are coming, so we kinda turned it into this nice family vacation that’s over Christmas”

“We’ll fly back to Nashville and have Christmas there,” he added of their holiday plans.

Jon and Summer are in the midst of planning their May 2020 wedding, which will take place in Montana at a venue overlooking Yellowstone National Park. The couple got engaged on the stage of Nashville’s famed Ryman Auditorium after Pardi performed back-to-back sold-out shows at the prestigious venue.

Jon Pardi’s latest single, “Heartache Medication,” is continuing to make its way up the charts at country radio and is currently sitting inside the Top 10.
