Jon Pardi will continue living the “girl dad” life as he and his wife, Summer, just revealed the gender of their second child.

The couple, known for sharing glimpses into their home life on social media, revealed the news in a video shared to Summer Pardi’s Instagram. The clip begins with Summer getting an ultrasound while their 10-month-old, Presley Fawn, is seated just above her belly.

The text on the video reads, “What will baby number 2 be.”

Then, the video cuts to a pizza and as Jon and Summer pick up the slices of the pepperoni pie from Jet’s Pizza, pink paper in the shape of pizza sleeves is seen below.

“Oh a girl,” the country star shouts while holding Presley in his arms. Summer can be heard laughing in the background.

Summer Was Surprised

According to her caption, “Jon said he knew it” but she admits she was “definitely surprised” when she found out baby number two was in fact another girl.

Naturally, the post was flooded with congratulatory messages from Summer’s friends, including Brittany Aldean, who commented, “The beauties.”

Baby Announcement

Jon and Summer announced the news of their second child on January 7 via social media. The baby announcement came in the form of a video  set to the song “The Feels” by Labrinth. The clip featured videos of the family inside their new custom home, which is in the process of being built, as well as stills of Presley holding snapshots from an ultrasound.

“Good thing we have that extra guest room 😉,” the soon-to-be mother of two captioned the post. “We can’t wait to fill this home with all of the love from our little family of four 🤍.”

Jon and Summer welcomed Presley on February 18, 2023. She arrived weighing 7 lbs, 12 oz, and measuring 20.25 inches. At the time, the “Dirt On My Boots” singer announced the arrival of their baby girl by sharing a photo of her swaddled up in blankets with the caption: “Our baby girl is here and ready to Pardi haha DAD joke!”

Since then, the California native, 38, has settled into life as a dad and admitted that it was a bit of a learning curve. In May of 2023, he told Entertainment Tonight, “The whole new thing. Everything’s new, so that’s fun… It’s a whole new learning thing, so that’s fun. Fun to learn.”

Living A Sober Lifestyle

Pardi recently revealed that he’s made some major life changes since becoming a dad.

In a December 2023 episode of Amazon Music’s Country Heat Weekly podcast, Pardi shared insights into his recent transformation, revealing that he has achieved “112 days of sobriety.” This positive lifestyle change has not only contributed to his newfound well-being but has also resulted in significant weight loss.

“I was pre-diabetic and I was just like, I gotta stop. But I will say I’m retired. Doesn’t mean I can’t come out of retirement, but for right now it’s been great,” he said. “It just fell off my face and I really was getting to the point where every picture, every video, I was so unhappy with myself and it was just like, where I was going, I needed to just take a break.”

2024 Tour

The newly inducted Grand Ole Opry member enjoyed some downtime over the holidays, but will soon kick things into full great when he returns to the touring circuit. After joining Luke Bryan at Crash My Playa in Mexico, Pardi will return to the road with various stops around the U.S. before bringing his headlining tour overseas for the rescheduled dates of his Mr. Saturday Night World Tour.
