Kameron Marlowe has already had a busy start to his year, and he doesn’t appear to be slowing down anytime soon. Along with staying on top of his fast-rising career, the country star is in the midst of planning his wedding with his soon-to-be wife, Meagan Bennington.

While recently catching up with Country Now to discuss his just-released sophomore album, Keepin’ The Lights On, Marlowe also opened up about the progress they have made in preparing for their big day.

“The wedding planning is coming along, not smoothly, but slowly. We’re getting there. She’s working all the time, and I’m also always on the road, so we took a lot of time to wedding plan,” he explained before admitting, “There’s a lot of moving parts that I did not realize comes with a wedding so we’re learning a lot.”

The Big Day Is Quickly Approaching

The couple has not unveiled the exact date of their nuptials, but Marlowe indicated that it is quickly approaching and that they are “coming down to the wire.”

“We’re just slowly rolling with it. I know it’s all gonna be done the day of the wedding, so we’re not too stressed about it, but time is ticking at the same time. We’re coming down to the wire here, but it’s going to be great.”

He added that they are “just excited to spend the day with our family and friends.”

Kameron And Meagan’s Love Story

The two first met in 2019 after they were introduced by the singer’s manager Kaitlin Madewell at Whiskey Jam in Nashville, TN. From that moment on, their love continued to flourish for two years and on April 13, 2023, the “On My Way Out” singer finally popped the question.

At the time of the proposal, the lovebirds were visiting Belgrade, Montana, the same place where they took their first trip together back in 2021. Marlowe told Bennington that the reason for the getaway was to celebrate her birthday, but he actually had much bigger plans in store. Prior to their dinner on that memorable evening, the North Carolina native suggested they take a walk in hopes of catching the sunset, but instead, he ended up getting down on one knee in a foot of snow.

“Never had a doubt forever would be with you 4.13.23,” the pair wrote in their joint Instagram post, announcing the news of their engagement.

Dates Announced For Marlowe’s First World Tour

The exciting news continues because on the morning of Monday, June 3, Marlowe announced plans to hit the road on his very first world tour. The trek, named after his sophomore album, the Keepin’ The Lights On World Tour will kick off this fall for 22 stops nationwide, including six international dates recently announced across Europe.

Marlowe will be joined by special guests Laci Kaye Booth, Jake Worthington, Vincent Mason, Owen Riegling, Mitchell Ferguson, Wyatt McCubbin and more on select dates.

“Going out on my first world tour is something that’s hard to wrap my head around but I’m stoked to play this new record live for y’all,” Marlowe wrote in his announcement on Instagram.

Additionally, he unveiled the “Keepin’ The Lights On Fund,” which aims to help “families and individuals in need of basic necessities (power bills, shoes, food and so much more.)” For every ticket sold on the Keepin’ The Lights On World Tour 2024, $1 is donated to the “Keepin’ The Lights On Fund.”

“The KTLO fund is super special to me because in the song, I sing about my parents making sure we had shoes on our feet and food on our plates,” adds Marlowe. “Times are tough out there and I wanted to pay it forward where I can!”

Tickets for the North American leg of the Keepin’ The Lights On tour are on sale now at kameronmarlowe.com/#tour. UK/EU dates will be available starting Friday, June 14.
