Kane Brown joined forces with rapper Nelly for a new version of “Cool Again.”

Out now, the reimagined song featured a verse by Nelly and comes to life in a brand new music video. Filmed at the beach in Miami, Florida in late June, the clip opens with Brown, who appears to be washed up on a deserted island. He stumbles upon a cardboard box and then ventures out to explore a small shack nearby. Moments later, he puts on some sunglasses and sees Nelly riding in on a jet ski in the distance. Nelly joins him for the remainder of the video.

Nelly first teased the collaboration via Instagram in June, telling his followers he was happy to be a part of “one of the dopest tracks.” The three-time Grammy winner is no stranger to country collaborations. In the past, Nelly has teamed up with artists such as Florida Georiga Line and Tim McGraw.

Brown originally released “Cool Again” in late April. The breezy, summertime tune finds the superstar “going crazy” over an ex, wishing that things could go back to the way they were when they were together.

“Cool Again” was co-written by Brown alongside Josh Hoge, Matthew McGinn and Lindsay Rimes. The fan-favorite track will appear on Brown’s forthcoming EP, which is expected to arrive later this month.
