Kelly Clarkson covered one of Rascal Flatts’ biggest on The Kelly Clarkson Show and she absolutely crushed it.
The superstar shared a stunning rendition of Rascal Flatts’ “I’m Movin’ On” during the “Kellyoke” segment of her hit talk show on Thursday (Aug. 6). The socially-distant performance featured Clarkson alongside a live band and background singer and showcased her incredible vocals.
The emotional ballad documents the moment after a breakup when you realize that life must go on.
“I’m movin’ on/ At last I can see life has been patiently waiting for me/ And I know there’s no guarantees, but I’m not alone/ There comes a time in everyone’s life/ When all you can see are the years passing by/ And I have made up my mind that those days are gone,” she sings on the chorus.

“I’m Movin’ On” was released by Rascal Flatts in October of 2001. It appears on the trio’s self-titled debut album.
Clarkson has continued to share new episodes of The Kelly Clarkson Show after wrapping up the latest season of The Voice in May. The former American Idol champ filed for divorce from her husband, Brandon Blackstock, in June. She is set to return to The Voice this fall.
Previous “Kellyoke” segments have featured covers of Shania Twain, Carrie Underwood and Kelsea Ballerini.
