Kelsea Ballerini’s “Hole in the Bottle” is No.1!
The song made its way to the top of the Mediabase chart this week, securing the two-time GRAMMY nominee her sixth No. 1 single.
Ballerini took to Instagram to share her gratitude over the news on Sunday. She also gave a shoutout to her team and country music legend Shania Twain for making the song a massive success.
“Hi 🙂 …two minutes and thirty-four seconds of witty, drunken escapism called ‘hole in the bottle’ is now officially the number one song in the country this week.” she wrote. “A big and genuine thank you to my friends at country radio, @shaniatwain for a bucket list remix, my co-writers, and my entire team/fam.”
“I hope this one has made you smile, dance around your kitchens, and take the edge off of a very odd and hard last few months,” she continued. “I LOVE YOU. THANK YOU. CHEERS. 🍷”

“Hole In The Bottle” is the third single off the East Tennessee native’s 2020 studio album, Kelsea. Ballerini brought the song to song to life with a whimsical, roaring ’20s-style music video and later gave it new life with a remix featuring Twain.
Ballerini later reimagined her Kelsea album with the release of Ballerini, where she deconstructed each song on the project and re-recorded everything with minimal accompaniment.
