Kip Moore is embarking on an exciting new era of his career with the announcement of a new partnership with Virgin Music Group.

Along with the news, the multi-platinum-selling singer/songwriter also teased “Live Here to To Work,” his first new song in nearly two years.

“I’m a firm believer that this life is what you make it and is enhanced by the people you surround yourself with,” Moore said. “I see this next chapter of my career as an opportunity to keep building this thing brick by brick. I was making this record independently when I began having the initial conversations with Virgin and other record labels. It was ultimately the tangible passion from Virgin Music Group that made me want to team up and see where we could take this next chapter. There is a trust and a freedom in what I do and I can feel that from this team. The fans are going to be getting more music from me than ever before. The first track from this project is a song called ‘Live Here To Work.’ It pushes the envelope a bit, but we wanted to come out swinging.”

“I have been a fan of Kip’s for years now,” Jacqueline Saturn, President, Virgin Music Group North America, and EVP of Global Artist Relations, shared. “His music’s universal themes transcend genre and appeal to a huge variety of music fans. Along with his music, his commitment to relentless touring has helped him build a powerful global fanbase. We know this next phase of his career is going to be amazing.”

Moore’s new partnership with Virgin Music Group comes just months after he parted ways with his longtime label, MCA Nashville. The Georgia native revealed the news to fans in a statement on social media and took the time to thank those who supported him along the way.

“I’ve been extremely grateful for the opportunity to make records on a label like MCA over the last 10-plus years. They’ve been such a top-notch team and I’ve been so lucky to have had the freedom through the years to do it my way,” he wrote.

He acknowledged that the team worked “tirelessly” and expressed his gratitude for everything they had done for him, but felt it was time to move on.

Since bursting onto the country music scene in 2011, Moore has blazed his own path and has become known for doing this his own way. He released his debut album, Up All Night, with MCA Nashville on April 24, 2012, featuring 11 tracks he co-wrote, including the top-20 single “Somethin’ ‘Bout a Truck.”

He went on to release four more albums with the label: Wild Ones (2015), Slowheart (2017), Wild World (2019), and Damn Love (2023).

Kip Moore - Live Here To Work

Next Friday, September 20, Moore will officially begin the next chapter of his career with the release of “Live Here to Work,” which brings him back together with co-producer Jaren Johnston (known for his work with Keith Urban, Chris Shiflett, and Darius Rucker). Fans can hear a sneak peek of the new track on TikTok

Kip Moore is currently on his extensive Nomad World Tour, which continues later this month with a 14-show run in arenas and stadiums across Australia. The tour also includes a return to South Africa, where he played to over 40,000 fans last year, and will conclude with a series of dates in the U.S. this fall.
