Lady A paid homage to country icon Randy Travis with a performance of “Forever And Ever, Amen” during NBC’s Grand Ole Opry: 95 Years of Country Music special on Sunday evening (Feb. 14).

The trio, comprised of Charles Kelly, Hillary Scott and Dave Haywood, added their signature harmonies to their cover of the song, making for a memorable performance of the beloved Randy Travis hit.

“Well, that was the most unexpected surprise, we are so honored, speechless truly, and Randy Travis we hope we do you justice on this one,” Scott shared.

Following the trio’s performance, Randy Travis took to social media to react, writing, “Great job on “Forever and Ever, Amen” to the newest members of the @opry @ladya! I’m proud to officially welcome you into the Grand Ole Opry family, though you’ve been a part of it for years.”
