Lady A’s Dave Haywood and his wife, Kelli Cashiola Haywood, are expecting their third child.
The couple surprised fans with the news this week, revealing that their newest bundle of joy will arrive next month.
“I’ve always been a big fan of trios,” Haywood wrote alongside a sweet black and white snapshot of the family.
“Baby Boy Haywood coming in July,” he added.
The couple’s third child joins Cash Van, 9, and Lillie Renee, 6.
Haywood’s bandmate, Charles Kelley, was quick to comment on the news, admitting he’s glad it’s finally public knowledge so he no longer has to worry about the possibility of accidentally letting it slip.

“Hard secret to keep. Now I can shout it out,” Kelley wrote.
Dave and Kelli were friends first, building a solid foundation for what would ultimately become a lifetime of love. They “fell hard and quick” after their first date as they already knew each other so well.
“Once we got together, we got engaged within a really short time, got married really quick because we knew each other so well,” the Georgia native previously explained. “Having that foundation of knowing each other for five, six, seven years was really just a beautiful thing.”

Haywood went all out when proposing to Cashiola, who was the Vice President of Marketing/Brand Management for Warner Music Nashville at the time. He picked her up from her office, handed her a blindfold, and drove her home. Upon arrival, she removed the blindfold to find “Will you marry me?” spelled out in Christmas lights.
Their wedding, described as “straight out of a movie,” took place on April 14, 2012, at Front Porch Farms in Ashland City, Tennessee. Dave Barnes provided the music for the ceremony, and Haywood’s bandmates, Charles Kelley and Hillary Scott, were in attendance.

Before welcoming another baby boy into the family, Dave Haywood will reunite with his bandmates for several shows. In addition to performing a Spotify House this week during CMA Fest in Nashville, the group is set to perform at Carolina Country Music Fest, as well as make stops in Valdosta, GA, St. Louis, MO, and Joliet, IL throughout the month.
Lady A’s latest single, “Love You Back,” arrived last fall. The nostalgia-filled tune is reminiscent of some of the band’s earlier releases and truly feels like the quintessential Lady A sound that fans have grown to love over the years.
