Hillary Scott, her husband Chris Tyrrell, and their three daughters jump for joy in an adorable new family photo.
The post shared to social media on Monday (Oct. 16) showcases the female lead of the country music trio, Lady A decked out in matching gingham dresses with her oldest daughter Eisele Kaye Tyrrell, 10, and her twin girls, Emory JoAnn and Betsy Mack, 5. Tyrell was also pictured with a bright smile on his face as he held onto the hands of two of his girls, lifting them higher off the ground.
Sweet Family Snapshot
This photo truly shows just how much her daughters have all grown. The joyous image was matched with an uplifting caption that reads, “He is as grounded as feet on the Earth and he loves to let us fly. 🥰”
The country singer also added that her dad, Lang Scott, is responsible for capturing the candid family moment.
Scott later shared another adorable moment on her Instagram stories that came in the form of an encouraging note from her daughter Eisele. The outside of the paper had a handwritten message in green marker that read, “Mom, I think you need this,” followed by Eisele’s signature and a smiley face. The inside revealed an even deeper sentiment as the young girl had colored in a bible verse from Philippians 4:13. She changed around a few words to curate it especially for her mom, leading it to say, “You can do all things through Christ, who gives you strength.”
Their Love Story Began Nearly 13 Years Ago
Scott and Tyrell first met in college but didn’t start dating until after 2010, when they reconnected while out on the road with Tim McGraw. It just so happened that while Lady A was tapped as a special guest on tour with McGraw, Tyrell was playing the drums for country duo Love & Theft, who was McGraw’s opening act at the time.
Shortly after the pair of musicians began dating and Tyrrell landed a gig drumming for Lady A. Their love flourished over time and just a few months following Tyrrell’s Fourth of July weekend proposal, they said “I do” on January 7, 2012. Their intimate ceremony took place in upstate New York surrounded by family and close friends.
Then their life as a family of two began to grow when Scott gave birth to their Scott’s first child, Eisele Kaye, in 2013 and their twins on January 29, 2018.
While the couple was overjoyed to welcome their twins, their birth followed a devastating pregnancy loss in 2015. In order to cope with her miscarriage, Scott turned to music and as a result, her emotions lead to the creation of the GRAMMY-nominated song, “Thy Will.”
“Thy Will”
As the girls grow older, Scott admits that she’s starting to see their bright personalities and musical talents come to life, especially for their eldest Eisele.
Will Her Daughters Follow In Her Musical Footsteps?
Ahead of her daughter’s eighth birthday, the “Like A Lady” singer told E! News’ Daily Pop that the young girl is already following in her footsteps and has taken an interest in singing and playing the piano.
“I think all of our children are showing to have the musicality in them, but I just want to nurture their dream, whatever their dream is,” she shared at the time.
Luckily, the girls have already gotten used to watching and learning from their mom living in the limelight and as Scott previously told People, she will always be there to guide them as much as possible.
“She’s watching everything I do, everything I say, even the way I stand in photos. I want her to stand confident, like the individual, beautiful spirit that she is,” Scott told the outlet while speaking about Eisele.
New Music From Lady A
As for the latest news on Lady A, the GRAMMY-winning band made up of Scott with Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood, recently released their newest single, “Love You Back.”
Co-written by James McNair, Lindsay Rhimes, and Emily Weisband, the nostalgic tune induces a soulful reflection of the memories of a past love. This song dropped in the midst of a busy touring year for Lady A.
Back in April, the trio embarked on their Request Line Tour, opening with back-to-back sold-out shows at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium. Throughout the trek, fans were given the opportunity to control the setlist for the night by leaving a voicemail for the band, letting them know which song they would like to hear played from Lady A’s impressive catalog.
Next up, the group will likely appear at this year’s CMA Award show, as they have landed a nomination for Vocal Group of the Year. Fans can tune into the live celebration on Wednesday, Nov. 11 on ABC to see if Lady A will take home the win.
