Laine Hardy joined King Calaway on the latest episode of the group’s Nashville’s House Band Series to sing a classic song originally recorded by The Beatles.
Hardy and King Calaway delivered a rockin’, socially-distanced rendition of “I Saw Her Standing There.” The just-released clip features all six members of King Calaway, Chris Deaton, Simon Dumas, Chad Michael Jervis, Jordan Harvey, Austin Luther, and Caleb Miller, performing from their homes around the world, and Hardy, performing from his home in Louisiana.
“Us and @thelainehardy thought it would be cool to cover a new, up-and-coming band, @thebeatles,” the band joked on Twitter. “Laine smashed it! Keep replying telling us what you think and any recommendations for the weeks to come.”
“I Saw Her Standing There” was written by Paul McCartney and John Lennon and was featured on The Beatles’ 1963 debut album, Please Please Me.
