All eyes were on Lainey Wilson on this Thanksgiving Day when she took to the AT&T Stadium field for a special halftime performance during the Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving Day game against the New York Giants.

Wilson delivered a medley of her hits, including “Heart Like A Truck,” “Hang Tight Honey,” “4x4xU,” and “Wildflowers and Wild Horses” while a sea of Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders danced on the field and on the stage around her.

In the midst of her performance, Wilson surprised fans with a special guest: her longtime friend and collaborator, Jelly Roll, who joined her to perform their chart-topping hit, “Save Me.”

For her performance, the reigning CMA Female Vocalist of the Year donned a custom all-white ensemble adorned with silver rhinestones, a white cowboy hat, and white boots.

This special halftime show served as the kickoff to the Salvation Army’s 134th Red Kettle Campaign, which helps those in need through various Salvation Army programs. In recent years, many country artists have joined the Salvation Army and the Dallas Cowboys in helping kick off the giving season by performing at the annual Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving Day game, including Luke Combs, Dolly Parton, Kane Brown, Luke Bryan, and more.

Since their partnership began in 1997, The Salvation Army and the Cowboys have raised over $3 billion for the campaign. In 2023 alone, the campaign’s funds provided food, shelter, holiday gifts, and emergency financial assistance to more than 27 million people.

“It’s an honor to be part of the Red Kettle Kickoff tradition with The Salvation Army and the Dallas Cowboys. The holiday season is about giving back and coming together, so we can make a real difference in people’s lives this Christmas,” said Wilson. “Bring your bell-bottoms and some bells for ringing because we’re about to get this show on the road!”

Wilson’s Thanksgiving Day performance comes just one week after her big night at the 58th Annual CMA Awards, where she co-hosted the show alongside Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning, performed her latest chart-climbing single, “4x4xU,” and also took home two big awards: Female Vocalist of the Year for the third consecutive year and Music Video of the Year for “Wildflowers and Wild Horses.”

When accepting the trophy for Female Vocalist of the Year, Wilson shared: “I’ve always been told if you feel like you’ve got a gift, you’re supposed to share it, and I think that means whether you drive a tractor or pour coffee, make people smile or laugh, whatever that is I think you’re supposed to share that gift.”

The country superstar will close out the year with a performance at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on December 14.
