Lauren Alaina is sharing a heartfelt message of gratitude as her latest single, “All My Exes,” featuring Chase Matthew, climbs to No. 4 on the country radio charts.

In a “Get Ready With Me”-style video shared on social media, the country star opened up to fans about her musical journey, reflecting on her 15 years in the business and the nine years that have passed since her last No. 1 single as a lead artist. While she has celebrated chart-topping success as a featured collaborator on songs like “What Ifs” with Kane Brown and “One Beer” with HARDY, Alaina admitted that the journey to another No. 1 of her own has sometimes felt like an uphill battle.

Now, with “All My Exes” continuing to climb the charts, she is feeling especially grateful for the fans who have helped bring the song this far.

“I don’t even know what to say,” she admitted as she did her hair for her show. “I’m so excited about this song. I’m so grateful to this song and what it’s done for my career. I mean, I’m 15 years into this career, y’all. And my last number one that I put out was ‘Road Less Traveled,’ and it was nine years ago. And that song has carried me through this career and opened doors and given me things I could have never even imagined. And I’ve been putting out music and wanting something to go to the top of the charts again. And I have had other number ones, Kane and I put out ‘What Ifs’ and HARDY put out ‘One Beer,’ but my own song that I wrote and released, it’s been nine years.”

With “All My Exes” now sitting at No. 4, Alaina can see another No. 1 within reach. The Georgia native went on to explain just how much the song’s success means to her, reflecting on a childhood dream that has remained a priority throughout her career and encouraging others not to give up on their own goals.

“So for this song to be in the top four and we’re staring down at number one, I’m just so grateful. As a little girl, all I ever wanted was to hear my songs on the radio. And so it’s just been such a priority for me to have my songs played on the radio. And we’re so close to another number one. This would just be so crazy,” she shared. “I mean, nine years is a long time to hope and pray for something. And now I’ve seen myself so close to having this dream and this goal come true for myself. And I’m just so grateful. Thank y’all for loving the song. Country Radio, thank you for playing this song. I’m so proud. Chase, thank you for recording this song with me. You made it so much better when you recorded on it.”

As she continued to express her gratitude for the song’s success at radio, Alaina shared that the milestone feels even more special now that she’s balancing her career with life as a wife and mother to her daughter, Beni Doll.

“I just want to say having this song do so well, and I’m a mother and a wife and being able to do kind of all of the things, have this song go up the charts while I’m raising my daughter, it’s just so special to me,” she added.

“And anyone out there with a dream, if you got a dream, even if it feels so out of reach, just keep trying and keep believing because if I had given up in the last nine years and thought maybe that I had my moment, I wouldn’t have this moment now and I wouldn’t have these people coming to the show screaming this song. So yeah, I’m just very grateful. I’m so excited and I love y’all. Thank you for loving this song, for latching onto it. And hopefully we take it all the way to the top. We’ll see in the coming weeks. Love you.”

In the caption of her post, Alaina encouraged fans to call their local radio station to request “All My Exes,” with the hopes of pushing it to No.1 on the charts.

“All My Exes” is featured on Lauren Alaina’s new album, Stages, which is out now.
