“This Land Is Your Land” was written by Woody Guthrie in 1940 and is one of the most famous United States of America folk songs. The song has appeared in several tv shows, movies, across the internet, in books, and even in advertising campaigns, it may of even ended up in one of your children’s school plays.

Alaina belted out the lyrics to the American classic song on a stage in front of the U.S. Capitol surrounded by American flags.

“This land is your land, and this land is my land
From California to the New York Island
From the Redwood Forest, to the Gulf stream waters
This land was made for you and me”
