It may be October, but Gabby Barrett is already getting into the Christmas spirit with the release of a stunning rendition of the timeless classic “I’ll Be Home For Christmas.”
The chart-topping country star’s version of the iconic holiday hit stays true to the original and allows her pristine vocals to take the spotlight alongside soft percussion and a beautiful piano melody. The soft jingle of bells throughout adds a festive Christmas touch.
Barrett’s version of the holiday standard, which was written by Walter Kent, Kim Gannon, and Buck Ram, is the first release from her forthcoming Christmas album, Carols and Candelight, set for release on November 8.
The multi-platinum singer/songwriter announced the project earlier this month, telling fans, “I know we’re close to Halloween, but my heart is in HOLIDAY MODE!!!!!”
Barrett says Christmas is her “FAVORITE” time of year and that she was “so excited” to share her Christmas album with fans.
The upcoming Carols and Candlelight album includes for KING & COUNTRY’s award-nominated “Go Tell It On The Mountain” featuring Gabby Barrett, plus other duets like “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” with her husband, Cade Foehner, and “O Come, O Come, Emmanuel” with The Piano Guys.

Christmas classics like “Last Christmas,” “The First Noel,” “Silent Night,” and more are also featured on the project.
Gabby Barrett will bring her live show to Nashville’s CMA Theater inside the Country Music Hall of Fame in Museum on November 13, just days after releasing Carols and Candlelight.
