Luke Bryan has never been one to hide his love for the outdoors. When he’s not on stage performing for sold-out crowds or in Los Angeles filming American Idol, the superstar can likely be found either hunting or fishing.
Sometimes, he even brings fans along for the ride, sharing photos and videoes from his outdoor adventures on Instagram. On Tuesday, the avid outdoorsman took to the social media platform to share a sweet video of himself on a fishing trip with his eldest son, Thomas Boyer aka “Bo.” As Bryan’s song “Pick It Up” plays in the background, Bryan and his 11-year-old son are seen packing up and heading out for a quick fishing trip.
“You’re gonna have your beer right here, and I’m gonna have my Sprite here,” Bo tells his father as they gather their gear.
“Christmas in August, baby,” Bryan quips.
The pair are then seen walking along the side of a lake and casting their lines. Later, Bryan smiles as he reels in a decent-sized fish.
“We just got done from fishing,” Bo shared at the close of the clip. “My dad caught a pretty good fish. Maybe there will be a good spot tomorrow.”
It sounds like Bryan and Bo left the lake with more than just fish…they also made some life-long memories together!
Luke Bryan is currently in the midst of his Sunset Repeat Tour, which runs through October 25. Earlier this week, it was confirmed that he will return as a judge on the upcoming season of American Idol. The show will make its long-awaited return to ABC in the Spring of 2020.
