Travis Denning puts his own country/rock spin on Halsey’s “Without Me” in a new video just released to YouTube.
The Georgia native rearranged the chart-topping song and censored a number of the lyrics for the clip, making the pop hit all his own. Accompanied by two acoustic guitars and a drum kit, Denning belts out a stripped-down version of the emotional tune inside the recording studio, proving his musical knowledge and abilities stretch far beyond the realms of country music.
Denning recently opened up to Country Now about his appreciation for Halsey and other female pop stars.
“I love Halsey, she is one of my favorite artists,” he confessed, adding, “I’ve been digging the hell out of Billie Eilish since she came out. I love the sounds and tones that all of these powerhouse girl pop artists use in their records.”

Denning’s latest single, “After A Few,” just cracked the Top 40 at country radio. This fall, fans can catch him on the road with Riley Green on the Get That Man A Beer Tour. The trek kicks off September 5 in Statesboro, Georgia.
